As we anticipate the coming of spring, it is a good time of year to do some serious garden planning! Some of us grow dahlias directly in the ground. Others grow dahlias in specially prepared raised beds. Then too, some of us grow dahlias in containers. At Lakeshore Dahlias LLC, we grow our dahlias in 5 gallon nursery containers. It can be helpful to draw out your garden with graph paper and a pencil. You can arrange plants by height and color. Now is the time to research the height of each of your dahlias and label its name and height on paper. Make a wish list of the new dahlias you would like to add to your garden this year! Lakeshore Dahlias LLC will be opening its opener tuber sale on March 1. This month we are working on pricing. We will be adding pricing as we approach March 1.
